Maggie Kinabrew is an emerging artist whose “glittering soprano” (San Francisco Classical Voice) brings “fervor and precision” (San Francisco Chronicle) to her performances. This season, Maggie makes her company debut with Boston Opera Collaborative and joins Palm Beach Opera as an Apprentice Artist, where she covers Clotilde in Norma, study covers the four heroines in Les contes d’Hoffmann, and performs in their annual Resident Artist Showcase. In the summer of 2023, Maggie attended the Wolf Trap Opera Studio Program, where she is covering Semele in Semele as well as performing in scenes as Clorinda (La Cenerentola), Ilia (Idomeneo) and Mother (Dog Days). Maggie’s musical interests range from the works of Mozart to contemporary premieres. Of particular interest to her is the art song of Finnish composers, and she highlights this rarely performed repertoire through her recital programming.
